REAL STORIES

"Clearly, Hawaii is being killed ...We're on our knees right now."

Edward Kubo Jr.
US Attorney, State of Hawaii

Age: 17
Gender: male
Location: honolulu

When I was 12 I started meth. Meth was easy to get but not when I was in middle school. I had to go to town. That is were my dealer was. I would take the bus and I would go to A'ala Park and get high. After a year of abusing meth I had dropped out of middle school so I could get high. When I was in school no one knew I was on meth. I nearly killed my mom by almost cutting her throat 'cause I thought she was a intruder. I was hallucinating thinking she was going to kill me. When I was 13 I was in the hospital because I had an overdose. My head was hurting and I felt like vomiting.

Meth is madness. Don't do it.
