"Clearly, Hawaii is being killed ...We're on our knees right now."

Edward Kubo Jr.
US Attorney, State of Hawaii

Age: 23
Gender: Female

My younger sister started using drugs when she was probably around 15-16 years old. That's when she really started to change. She was always mad and looking to start a fight with either my parents or me. She ran away from home a couple times. Almost ran my mom over with a car when she was leaving one time. She started stealing money from us and hanging out with some really creepy older guys. She said she even got raped a couple times. But she always used to lie about things to get her out of trouble and so my parents would feel sorry for her. I just wasn't sure what to believe anymore. After she got into an accident with one of her friends, my parents moved her off island to live with some relatives. Well, that was a year ago and my sister has already been arrested for possession of drug paraphanelia and now after being released, nobody in my family has heard or seen from her in over six months.

I know that my sister had been using other things besides meth, but I know that she has been using that more than any other drug. Meth doesn't just hurt the user but can cause so much emotional damage for families and friends. Don't do it!!
